Ross Ladehoff

Co-Owner – VP, Sales & Marketing

Ross Ladehoff is a local Bemidji resident and is very excited to bring the Bemidji Axmen to the Sanford Center.  Ross has lived in Bemidji for the past 8 years and has lived in Minnesota his whole life.
Ross jumped at the opportunity to bring Indoor Football to Bemidji since the beginning because it gave him the opportunity to combine his love of football with the great city of Bemidji.  When not working he enjoys spending his time hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.

Adam Barnhardt

Director of Communications

Adam Barnhardt is entering his first season with the Bemidji Axemen. Adam comes to the Axemen after designing websites for and assisting the social media presences for various athletes in the National Football League. Prior to that, he spent time at a print shop while interning for the La Crosse Spartans (IFL) and Tulsa Talons (AFL). Adam has a strong background in website design and social media marketing.

Hailing from northwest Iowa, Adam is a product of Pocahontas Area High School. When not working in the office, he enjoys relaxing and listening to music.  During the IFL offseason, Adam can be found screaming at the TV in “support” of the Arizona Cardinals.

Shane Duehn

Marketing/Sales Intern

Shane Duehn is entering his first season with the Bemidji Axemen and is very excited to bring the community of Bemidji the excitement of indoor football.

Shane was raised in St. Francis, MN and has been in Bemidji for 4 years now. Shane attended Northwest Technical College to pursue an Associate’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, and Management. Shane hopes to go back to school at Bemidji State University to complete his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship, and a minor in Sports Management.

In his free time Shane enjoys being outdoors and with friends. In the winter you can always find Shane snowboarding at some of the slopes in the area. During the summer you can find him on the lake or around a bonfire with friends.

Jake Oslin

Marketing/Sales Intern

Jake Oslin is entering his first season with the Bemidji Axemen as a Marketing/Sales Intern.

Jake was raised in Mora, MN and is in his senior year at Bemidji State University. He is working towards a major in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration. He is also a pitcher on the Bemidji State Baseball team.

In his free time Jake likes to go fishing, hunting, and golfing.

Jesse Katz

Football Operations Intern

Jesse is entering his first season with the Bemidji Axemen as an intern in Football Operations.

Jesse was raised in Deerfield, IL and is in his junior year at Bemidji State University where he is majoring in Sport Management and minoring in Political Science.

He is also a pitcher on the Bemidji State baseball team.

When Jesse is home in Deerfield, he is a coach and administrator for the Northern Knights Travel Baseball Club.

Matt Hietala

Equipment Manager

Matt Hietala is entering his first season with the Axemen as equipment manager.

Matt is a native of Bemidji, MN and is currently attending Bemidji State University.  He is working towards finishing his degree in Sports Management with a minor in economics as well as a coaching specialist. Matt played hockey, football, and baseball at Bemidji High School and was a member of the 2009-2010 section 7AAAA championship football team. Matt also played baseball at Bemidji State for 3 seasons. Over the past few years, Matt has spent time as a student worker in the athletic equipment room at Bemidji State and has spent this season working in the hockey equipment room at the Sanford Center.

Kristi Reid

Co-Director, Axes Dance Team

Kristi Reid is entering her first season with the Bemidji Axemen.

Kristi is originally from Maple Lake, MN and has lived in Bemidji, MN for the past 3-years as a student at Bemidji State University. Kristi has spent her life dancing, most of which was spent at the St. Cloud Just for Kix. In High school Kristi was the captain and choreographer for the football cheerleading team for 3-years and also did gymnastics, where she was the captain her senior year. Kristi was also crowned as Maple Lake Miss Congeniality 2011/2012 at her hometown’s annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Kristi has taken many different workshops including one with Sh ane Sparks and has been able to preform at a Minnesota Twins Game. At just age 12, Kristi received Best Dancer award out of 500 other dancers at a workshop she attended. For the past 2 years, Kristi has spent time coaching gymnastics in the Bemidji area. Kristi and her co director, Cassandra, make the perfect team with their combined experience in dance and coaching.

Cassandra Schram

Co-Director, Axes Dance Team

Cassandra Schram is entering her first season with the Axemen.

Cassandra Schram has lived in Bemidji her entire life. She is currently finishing up her last semester at Bemidji State University for Elementary Education. She comes to the Axes as a professional member of the USA Gymnastics Association with seven years of experience coaching competitive gymnasts. She sets a high standard of performance expectation and is excited to push the Axes to be an amazing group of performers. Along with coaching, she has also helped choreograph and put together annual shows for the Bemidji area gymnasts. Cassandra, now retired due to injuries, also has an impressive resume as a competitive gymnast, which includes competing in 5 state meets and being the first Bemidji Aerial to compete as a Level 9! Cassandra and her co-director Kristi, offer a dynamic team combining their gifts and experience with their excitement to lead the team entertaining fans at Bemidji Axemen Professional Indoor Football games!
